National Day of Mourning - April 28th
Remembering lives lost or injured in the workplace

April 28th is a day set aside to honour those workers across the country whose lives have been lost, those who have been injured or disabled on the job, or who suffer from occupational diseases.

It is a day that offers employees and employers the opportunity to remember the dead, injured and ill, as well as publicly renew their commitment to improve health and safety in the workplace.

CCOHS has designed a moving new poster, available free of charge in English and French, to help you draw attention to this important day in your workplace.

You can preview the poster on our website and request your FREE poster today by contacting CCOHS Client Services or calling 1-800-668-4284. We reserve the right to limit quantities.

The National Day of Mourning is not only a day to remember the dead - it is a call to protect the living.
