Introduction

A worker adviser or advocate office is typically an independent agency of the department responsible for health and safety in your jurisdiction but it may be appointed by a separate government department. This office generally provides free services to most injured workers and their survivors in workplace compensation or insurance matters. Eligibility for assistance does vary from region to region.
