  Construction Safety Association of Ontario
Established in 1929, the Construction Safety Association of Ontario (CSAO) is mandated to eliminate injury, illness, and death in Ontario construction. Services include training, consultation, and research. CSAO is funded primarily by contractors’ premiums paid to the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). CSAO’s directors come equally from labour and management.
 
  Education Safety Association of Ontario

  Elecsafe
Elecsafe is a not-for-profit Electrical Safety Partnership that has been formed to provide Ontarians with access to important information about electricity that can keep them safe where they live, work & play.
 
  Electrical Safety Authority
Ontario’s Electricity Act and the Safety and Consumer Statutes Administration Act and Regulations established the Electrical Safety Authority’s (ESA) responsibility for regulating the safe use of electricity and equipment in Ontario, enforcing the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, and appointing Inspectors.

  Employers’ Advocacy Council

  Environmental Health Clinic : Women's College Hospital
The Environmental Health Clinic is a unique multidisciplinary clinic, and the only one of its kind in Ontario. Ryerson University’s G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education is an acknowledged leader in OHS training and development. They offer two certificate programs including the Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and the Certificate in Advanced Safety Management.

The Industrial Accident Prevention Association (IAPA) is a not-for-profit, member-driven organization operating in the Province of Ontario since 1917. Representing more than 50,000 member firms and more than 1.5 million workers, IAPA is Canada’s largest health and safety organization and has taken a leading role in the prevention of workplace injury and illness, working for improvement in the health and safety performance of our member firms.
 
  Industrial Accident Victims' Group of Ontario (IAVGO)
Their community legal clinic provides free services to injured workers in Ontario including legal advice, legal representation, public legal education, advocacy training and community development.
 
  Injured Workers Online

  London Occupational Safety and Health Information Service
LOSH is a non-profit organization that promotes injury prevention in the London-Middlesex working community by providing access to support, information, and training to those injured or at risk of exposure, injury or disease in the workplace.
 
  Mines and Aggregates Safety and Health Association
MASHA is a designated "Safe Workplace Association" in Ontario. Members include all of Ontario's underground and surface mines; gravel and sand pits and quarries; diamond drilling, exploration and mine contracting companies; oil and gas exploration, development and production firms.

  Resource Centre for Occupational Health & Safety
On campus since 1978, the Centre provides a complete industrial hygiene consulting service to the industrial and general communities of Northwestern Ontario. The Centre is staffed by health and safety professionals with many years of experience. The System Safety Society is a non-profit organization supporting safety professionals worldwide. TSSA is an independent, non-government, not-for-profit organization mandated to deliver specific public safety programs and services under Ontario's Safety and Consumer Statutes Administration Act. The site provides various publications, policies and guidelines documents related to public safety legislation.

HealthyOntario.com's Ask An Expert service allows you to direct non-emergency medical inquiries regarding hot health topics to a health information expert. All inquiries and responses are processed by Prescient Digital Media Ltd. under the supervision of HealthyOntario.com's Chief Medical Editor. This service is operated by the Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion and managed by Prescient Digital Media. Inquiries are currently being taken in regards to six issues crucial to the wellness of Ontarians: Arthritis, asthma, cancer, diabetes, smoking cessation, and weight loss.
 
  The Safety Edge: Business Case for Safety in Construction Initiative
The Safety Edge is an online interactive program which emphasizes the business reasons for making safety part of every job . The Council of Ontario Construction Associations (COCA), along with The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) and the Construction Safety Association of Ontario (CSAO), have tested and developed The Safety Edge to reach small construction firms.
 
  Transportation Health and Safety Association of Ontario
THSAO is dedicated primarily to working with companies and personnel in the transportation industry. This safe workplace association's site provides access to publications, information about training programmes, and the association's services.
 
  University of Guelph: Toxicology Programs
The University of Guelph offers undergraduate degree program and co-op options in addition to a graduate degree program in the field of toxicology. The University of Guelph is also host to the headquarters of the Canadian Network of Toxicology Centres.
 
  University of Toronto: Pharmacology and Toxicology Programs
Pharmacology and Toxicology are broadly based and integrative disciplines of biology dealing with the properties of chemical compounds and their interactions with living systems. They provide the scientific basis and principles for the study of chemical actions in the health sciences, the use of drugs as therapeutic agents or as tools in scientific research, the development and control of pharmaceuticals, the investigation and control of pollutants and poisons in natural and social environments, etc. The Department of Pharmacology offers four specialist and two major undergraduate programs of study.

The Workers' Action Centre is a worker-based organization committed to improving the lives and working conditions of people in low-wage and unstable employment. The aim is to ensure that workers have a voice at work and are treated with dignity and fairness.
 
  Workers Health and Safety Centre
For more than 25 years, the Workers Health and Safety Centre have supported the efforts of workplace representatives in their pursuit of hazard-free workplaces. This support has ranged from answering health and safety concerns posed over the phone to the development and delivery of occupational health and safety training.

The Workplace Health Research Laboratory (WHRL) at Brock University gathers, analyzes, reports and interprets the information that HR professionals and senior management need to build productive and engaged workforces.
 
  Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal
The Tribunal is the final level of appeal to which workers and employers may bring disputes concerning workplace safety and insurance matters in Ontario. The Appeals Tribunal is separate from and independent of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.
 
  Workplace Safety and Insurance Board
The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) promotes workplace health and safety, and provides a workers compensation system for the employers and workers of Ontario. There is extensive information on this site about prevention, forms, health issues, return to work programs, and links to other health and safety organizations.
 
  Workplace Safety and Insurance Board: Reference Library
Provides information and research assistance to WSIB staff and the general public. Borrowing privileges are restricted to staff of the WSIB, and WSIB-affiliated Agencies and Associations.
 
  WSIB Ontario: Approved First Aid Trainers
Regulation 1101 requires all employers to ensure that first aid boxes and stations are in the charge of workers who hold valid first aid certificates issued by a training agency recognized by the WSIB.
 
  Young Worker Awareness Program
This site contains health and safety information for young workers, their parents, teachers, principals, employers and others. Though the information is specific to the province of Ontario, Canada (the Young Worker Awareness Program is only available to Ontario high schools), others may also find it useful. Health and safety on the job knows no boundaries.
