  Employers’ Advocacy Council

  Enform
Enform was created in 2005 by the merger of the Petroleum Industry Training Service (incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1961) and the Canadian Petroleum Safety Council (established in 1998). The goal of Enform is to coordinate an organized approach to achieve continuous improvement in health and safety for everyone involved in or affected by the Petroleum Industry.   European Process Safety Centre
International industry-funded organisation which provides an independent technical focus for process safety in Europe. EPSC's activities are sponsored by chemical manufacturing companies and related businesses with a keen interest in chemical process safety.
 
  Fair Air Association of Canada
The Fair Air Association of Canada is involved in a number of research projects that provide advice on a range of issues of interest to the hospitality industry. From studying the economic impact of smoking bans to testing effective ventilation solutions in a wide variety of locations, they are committed to providing scientifically sound information to help inform those in the decision-making process.
 
  Federation of European Risk Management Associations
FERMA exists to widen and raise the culture of Risk Management throughout Europe to its members and to the risk management and insurance community. It achieves its aims by promotion and raising awareness of risk management through the media, by information sharing, educational and research projects.
 
  Global Business and Economic Roundtable on Addiction and Mental Health

  Highway Safety Roundtable
This site is committed to raising the profile of the dangers of fatigue impairment. Fatigue impairment is a cause of about 15% of all road collisions or about 416 fatalities and 2,080 serious injuries each year in Canada .The Highway Safety Roundtable includes the Brewers Association of Canada, Canada Safety Council, Canadian Automobile Association, Insurance Bureau of Canada, Railway Association of Canada and Tourism Industry Association of Canada.
 
  International Powered Access Federation (IPAF)
The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) promotes the safe and effective use of powered access worldwide. Set up in 1983, IPAF is a not-for-profit members’ organisation that represents the interests of manufacturers, distributors, users, and rental and training companies.
 
  Liberty Mutual Research Institute for Safety
The only occupational health and safety research facility owned and operated by an insurance company. They conduct research in the following areas: injury research; physical work; return to work; slips, trips, and falls.
 
  National Association of Chemical Distributors

  National Floor Safety Institute
The National Floor Safety Institute is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to aid in the prevention of slip-and-fall accidents through education, training and research.
 
  Network of Employers for Traffic Safety

  Pulp and Paper Employee Relations Service
The Pulp and Paper Employee Relations Forum acts primarily as a research and information service for the industry. The public access section of this site provides access to occupational health research reports.
 
  Safe@workcoaltion
The Safe@work Web site is designed to assist employers in addressing the issue of domestic violence. It has been organized to make available information about training curricula and model domestic violence workplace policies, address legal issues, provide domestic violence statistics and resources for employers and employees as well as offer referrals to necessary social service providers.
 
  Sound Advice
Sound Advice contains practical guidelines on the control of noise at work in music and entertainment. Representatives of music and entertainment industries together with Environmental Health Officers and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) prepared the guidance.
 
  The Safety Edge: Business Case for Safety in Construction Initiative
The Safety Edge is an online interactive program which emphasizes the business reasons for making safety part of every job . The Council of Ontario Construction Associations (COCA), along with The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) and the Construction Safety Association of Ontario (CSAO), have tested and developed The Safety Edge to reach small construction firms.
 
  The Telework Coalition
Their vision is to take a more proactive than reactive approach towards promoting telework and telecommuting and fill the void left by other telework advocacy groups.
 
  Wellness Council of America
WELCOA focuses on building Well Workplaces—organizations that are dedicated to the health of their employees.
 
  Yukon Mine Training Assoction
The Yukon Mine Training Association (YMTA) is a partnership between the Yukon's mining industry and First Nations. The YMTA ensures that safety training is developed and delivered, meeting industry standards.
